Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Bathroom with toilet, shower/seat bathtub, washing machine. Utility room with dishwasher. Annex: 2 beds. 3 sleeping places and heat pump, so it is always dry and nice.

Since we try to keep our prices as low as possible, we let you choose your desired service level. Bed linen and towels can be added, at a cost of SEK 120 per set , final hours cleaning for SEK 500. The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.

Our lovely summerhouse from 1972 is perfect for silence & coziness and for active family living. We have a lovely livingroom with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a fully equipted kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything decorated with a colorful mix of the 1970s and modern living. During summertime you can use our terrasses, trampoline, bonfire etc in our big and private garden. If you are lucky you can watch deer ,squirrels, pheasants and sometimes even owls.
