Cabin holiday rentals in Portage Lake

The cabin here at the Lost Nations Cowboy town was an absolute gem. It was the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, quaint structures, and convenient amenities. The host Holly was extremely accommodating and gave a great little mini-tour of the town upon arrival. Would absolutely return next time I'm in the area!

We loved it!! Waking up hearing the water, the view, as well as activities to do on the water provided by Michael. Felt very homie! Michael was very kind! Easy check-in and check-out. We will definitely stay again if we’re back in Michigan! Thank you for the amazing stay!!

Alan’s lakehouse is everything you hope and dream a Michigan lake house will be. My dogs and I had a great stay. The house is SUPER CLEAN, the beach is steps away and perfect for swimming, and he is a fantastic host. Absolutely hope to stay here again someday when visiting Brighton again for another event at Island lake!

The Riverside Cabin is such a lovely place! I had a really quiet and relaxing weekend surrounded by nature. Holly is a very nice person, and I had everything I needed. I will be back! Thanks Holly!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was as described and very comfortable. There was a beautiful sunrise in the morning and the location was perfect for the viewing. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Holly was a phenomenal host! She was very kind, very accommodating, and the space was so unique! I absolutely enjoyed this time and I can't wait to get back here with my family and horses. The pricing is to die for. The adults enjoyed walking around Cowboy Town, but so did the teens! They absolutely loved exploring the trails and buildings. It was drizzling and we still enjoyed a fire and the paddleboat. I reccomend this all my friends and family! Holly and her horses were an absolute delight to meet!

Very nice stay. Good host with responsive communication. Clean and comfortable stay. Good location, cute lake view, cabin had many amenities. We used Marcus at Jackson Transport Service for transport and ate at Harold’s in the morning. Both were excellent and would reccomend.

Aaron's cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean and stocked pretty well. The property itself was serene and waking up to turtles on the beach, deer running around the water was perfect! walked the trails, pet and visited the horses. Exactly what we needed for a weekend! Already planning on going again next year!

The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

A beautiful location on the lake! It was a bit too chilly for us to enjoy all the property offered but the view is fantastic. Maurice is a great host and made our stay very easy. Convenient to Ann Arbor for our graduation festivities. Our pillow preferences are different but there are so many kinds to choose from :) Definitely recommend

Greg’s place was awesome. Me and my girlfriend had a great night walking around a short distance to corktown and Roosevelt park, or take the car up to Martin Luther king drive and in minutes your right down the street from comerica park. 10/10 would visit this spot again!

I must say I didn’t get to stay the full time I intended due to a small mishap on my end and when I say Brady was so nice and helpful and fully understanding even refunded me because I couldn’t stay (once again for something on my end) this really restored my hope in humanity! Very professional, kind and easy to communicate with. Would literally respond in seconds when I messaged! I’m Definitely going to book in the summer sometime.

The cozy cabin was clean, convenient location, you can sit on the back porch on the glider view of Lake Erie, pool table darts, checkers, fire ring, the sun porch was nice if you didn’t want to go outside for the view of Lake Erie!
