Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in San José Island

Jason was awesome, so responsive! the place was great, right on the water, the kids lived crabbing in the back. the house was clean and cozy, would love to stay again in the future!

We have been fortunate to have almost universally positive Airbnb experiences, but this one was special. There are absolutely flashier homes out there, ones closer to the beach, or closer to an influencer’s ideal. But Bon Temps Rockport felt like home. From the exceptional hospitality shown by Natalie and family, to the thoughtful decoration, the convenient to Rockport and only 30 min from Corpus location, and even an easy checkout that was not the onerous list of requirements some properties are known for, this place is special and represents the best of what Airbnb can be. All to say I happily recommend Bon Temps Rockport to anyone looking to stay in the area. Our family can’t wait to return.

We had a really nice time at Melody’s house! It was super clean, and she even dropped off a hair dryer in the rain bc the bath was missing one! Excellent response time, and very caring host! Thank you!!!

Loved the location and the cottage. You can see the water from the front porch and the breeze off the water was wonderful. The cottage was clean and the decoration was tasteful. We didn't do a lot of cooking at the cottage but we had everything we needed. Everything was clean and accommodating for us and our pet, including water/food bowls specifically for the dog. Messages from Melissa were timely and easy to follow. Checking in and out was a breeze and I would highly recommend the Spoonbill for anyone wanting to stay close enough to Port Aransas for things to do but also enjoy a quiet, peaceful setting.

We had a great stay.. spacious, clean and comfortable and we loved the pier. Lots of fishing and memories made.. can't wait to book again!

Family get-away was a sucess. My family and I enjoyed our stay. We had two families staying. We were very pleased with how clean and comfortable this place was. It it was in a quiet and private area. My kids enjoyed the pool. My husband and son enjoyed the pier being close, they went fishing. Pet friendly, we were able to take our fur baby last minute. Washer and dryer are a plus, especially for my sister in-law that had 4 littles, definitely helped us too. Very pleased with Leslie, she responded to my questions immediately. I highly recommend.

We had a spectacular stay! The view is phenomenal, you can see both the sunrise and sunset off the deck. The house was so spacious and welcoming. The little island, kayaks, and paddle-board kept the kids busy for hours on end. I can’t say enough about this place! My only complaint is that I couldn’t pack the view in my suitcase and bring it home!

This is a total gem! The location is right by the beach and the pool and playground are amazing. This is the second time we stayed. Janis is very helpful and responsive and we had no real issues. The place itself is a little small, but for 2 adults and a kid its perfect and we spent most of the time outside. Gorgeous deck. The couch is somewhat uncomfortable but again, not a deal breaker. Overall we love this place and will probably stay again if she will have us.

We only stayed two nights but it was great! Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. Rebecca and Diana were ready for any questions we had and more than happy to help if we had an issue. I will definitely be booking here again in the future.

I cannot say enough positive things about the facility and the host. Super clean. Very comfortable. And the host was very responsive to any questions. This entire experience surpassed my expectations. We will definitely seek to stay with Natalie again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful beachside condo! It was cozy, well-decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host was kind and very responsive throughout our stay. And if you’re looking for the best possible view—look no further. The ocean view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking and truly sets this place apart. Highly recommend for a peaceful and scenic beach getaway!

Really well situated along the canal and within the local area. Very clean and stocked with useful items.

Meagan was so helpful, courteous, and accommodating. Her condo was very clean and the amenities were incredible. Such a short walk to everything you need. A great stay for our anniversary.

May was a fabulous host! I rushed through reading the instructions and missed how to find the door. I texted May and she immediately responded. I really appreciated her responsiveness!

Perfect little get away right by white cap beach! The beach is walkable (about 5 or so minutes) but also a drive up beach so we chose to drive anyways (you do need a permit to park on the beach) Easy 20-30 minute drive to downtown corpus and also padre island seashore. We wanted to explore both while being able to stay on the beach so the location was great! Very clean and comfortable Airbnb. Plenty of restaurants nearby!

We enjoyed our stay. Down the street was a market where we picked up groceries to save on eating out. Beach was easy to access. We only used the chairs provided but other beach essentials were on site. I had no questions because everything was communicated clearly with signs and a binder. Even a place for sandy shoes outside. Neighbors in building and throughout complex were quiet and respectful. The balcony had great views!

Our family loved our stay and the location of this condo. It is right on the edge of a small lake and all the windows and back porch look out onto the lake. it was quiet and relaxing. the condo has the cutest decor and everything we needed including beach towels, kitchen items and extra bedding and pillows. we would def stay here again. Thanks for a great trip!

Great space for a family of 6 adults and 2 kids. Family with kids downstairs allowed privacy and upstairs we enjoyed the extra balcony! Beautiful space right on the water, comfy couches, and overall clean when we walked in. The host was very quick to respond and accommodating when I had questions or concerns. There is no fishing net, so bring your own! We missed a pretty big flounder for not being prepared, but still caught some drum and little reds. Loved being able to fish right off the dock. Only suggestions I have is to add some extra chairs at the dining table because some are missing and the door lock makes a loud noise if you leave it open for too long. Locks on the bedroom doors would allow for more privacy. One cabinet in the kitchen doesn’t close all the way but not a big deal! I would stay again!

The condo was peaceful and quiet. The temperature stayed cool inside ! Everything was great. Sorry the Beach club did not have the hot tub or dry sauna working, but one worker there said they were working on it. The pool felt great & met nice people! We want to come back soon!!

What an amazing host for an amazing property! Colleen was an amazing host and provided great instructions for us to get into the property and even left a wonderful welcome gift for us to enjoy. Colleen was very responsive both before and after our stay. What an awesome host! Everything was at least as awesome as the description. Just about anything you could possibly imagine wanting/needing for a beach front stay was provided at the property. From beach furniture to body boards to sand toys to (my personal favorite) even a Star Wars vinal record with Bluetooth record player! The property is a corner condo that is literally less than 100 yards to the ocean shore with access to the beach very close (or you could climb down the beach wall directly in front of the property like we all did). With the patio furniture that was provided, our family enjoyed hanging out and watching people, the seagulls and pelicans, and the wonderful sound of crashing waves. Wish I had more space! :)
