The San Marcos River house is situated on a quiet channel of the San Marcos River. It is less than a mile from downtown San Marcos and Texas State University and a 12 minute drive to San Marcos's Premium Outlet Malls. Rental of the house includes the entire property with large yard, a fire pit and several sitting areas overlooking the river. * IMPORTANT* River access can vary due to drought conditions. As of winter of 2024 the river is down several feet and our channel is not flowing as usual.

The Tree Haus is 675 sq. ft., near Texas State University on five acres in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. River play and trail access in local area. It is 6 miles from downtown San Marcos and convenient to TSU (about 10 minutes to Bobcat Stadium). The Tree Haus is above my Studio, has two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, coffee and tea service as well as a homemade breakfast bread for a fast start in the AM. We do not accept children under 8, non smoking, no pets, clean environment.
