Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

Since then, the former water tower has been available to vacationers who are looking for something special with every comfort. Here you will find peace and quiet to enjoy, direct access to the harbour for a quick dip in the water or a few hundred metres further on access to the bathing area with a great playground for young and old.
