Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sleights

Fabulous stay in the most beautiful surroundings, Cottage was beautifully appointed with everything you would need to hand, cottage has been furnished exquisitely, from the Country style kitchen to the Master bedroom with Exposed stone wall, freestanding Bath, super king size bed and Walk in Shower. The outside of the cottage was equally as impressive, the patio area with seating, BBQ and Hot-tub was a great area to relax in the evening and watch the Sun Set, over the Wolds. Really great location, only a 15-20 minute drive to get to Pickering, Helmsley, Thornton le Dale and the coastal towns, Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Stayed in the Irishman’s Cottage, though the grounds and surrounding properties were of a similar high standard. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ❤️

What a wonderful weekend we have had. The property is lovely. Plenty of room for our family of 12 plus 3 dogs. The place itself is just beautiful quaint so many nooks with wee properties hidden. Our children loved the beach we did not travel we stayed put. We had amazing weather, tide in played in sea which as a small beach was safe, tide out we explored further along rock pools, crabbing, some exploring of rocks etc. amenities in area were great for us friendly folk great food at local pub. Breakfast great at small cafe near art gallery. As a family we have fallen in love with Staithes perfect for our wee family members and us to create happy memories. We loved The Photographers House such charming character. Our host was great stayed in touch with time we could arrive and leave . Answered questions quickly prior to stay am sure would have been available had we had any concerns…..

Claudia's cottage is the perfect place to stay when visiting Robin Hood's Bay. The location is great being so close to everything yet far away enough for lots of privacy. Claudia is a fantastic host providing lots of helpful info and directions. We had the pleasure of meeting her once in RHB and enjoyed hearing her stories of the area. My family and I had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!

Wow! What a beautiful cottage in Staithes. The beds were super comfy, beautifully decorated throughout with everything needed for a self catering stay. The host David, was really friendly and met us on arrival to show us around the cottage. He even dropped off a pack of cards later in the day as we had forgotten ours! Stunning views on opening the lounge doors to hear the birds nesting in the cliffs and watch the tide coming in. We will definitely be staying again, soon hopefully! Thank you

lovely setting, period house is what it is. The children loved the little bits of history like the writing block that they had learned bout in school. Easy to find, quality bedding very comfortable. We were staying for a wedding so didn't spend a lot of weekend there. Garden was great to sit out in. Welcome pack was a lovely treat, 😋 The homemade cake sustained us all whilst making up all the wedding flowers at Danby church nothing too much trouble for Trish, I asked for full length mirror and there was one provided. All round a pleasant stay

The cottage is delightful, very clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The location was great, a short walk to the city and we loved climbing the hill back to the cottage. There is a Sainsbury’s mini market within walking distance. Wendy was a great host and answered our questions promptly.

Idyllic four nights in The Shed. Nicola has the property resourced brilliantly and it was easy to feel at home with all the practical information she provided. The location is tranquil-days were spent enjoying the enclosed garden. The property is a nearby drive to a lovely village and market towns or you can venture further to Whitby or Scarborough. Thoroughly enjoyed our temporary home.

A cosey stay in a lovely cottage. Excellent views and very close to everything. We enjoyed the log fire and many walks. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal. Molly was excellent to deal with.

We had a lovely weekend stay in this beautiful part of the country. Jackie could not have been friendlier or more helpful and provided us with delicious treats on arrival. The annexe is very comfortable, spotless, and we enjoyed sitting in the private courtyard as the weather was great. The village is so pretty and both evenings we had delicious meals at the pub (literally opposite). Perfect location to visit Helmsley, Thornton le Dale, Castle Howard. Could not recommend more.

The flat was exactly as described, and in an ideal location. The environment was quiet, and only a very short walk to the sea front. Check in was easy and parking was not a problem at all, as the flat is situated at the end of the disk zone, so there is plenty of free parking available. Hila also provided a parking disk so that short term parking in disk zone areas around the town was not a problem. The kitchen was very well equipped and the living area was spacious. The bedrooms were also a good size and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again, and would have no hesitation in recommending.

Great place to stay in the centre of Whitby

The apartment is located right in the heart of the city. Out of the front door and you’re only a few minutes away from everything. The apartment is really beautiful, everything you need is at hand. Sam is a very responsive host and is on hand to help. The bed is extremely comfortable, fans are provided for hot weather and the main kitchen/living area has air con and velux windows. The bathroom is a lovely walk in wet room. The only things I’d say is bring a laptop if you want to watch Netflix etc as the TV doesn’t have any apps (I brought my laptop and plugged it in via HDMI). I’d highly recommend this apartment. I would happily come back and stay again. We didn’t want to leave.

A fantastic location with parking but perfect if you are foot. Easy access from the station and into the city. The accommodation was as specified, nicely furnished and fully kitted out if you want to cook, iron etc. Overlooking the city walls but a quiet location nevertheless. We has a very happy stay.

Lovely clean flat with all amenities-super extra touches with fresh flowers, milk, biscuits etc. Great local maps with information about shops, restaurants and attractions. In fact the whole experience really could not have been better!

You couldn't ask for a better location. This flat is very centrally located - close to everything, and yet still very quiet over night and in the mornings. Short walk to the train station, the long stay car park, and to the shops or down to the river. The flat itself is very nice, well appointed and has everything you need for a short stay. Fay was always quick to respond and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. We had a really nice stay!

Gorgeous, stylish and comfortable flat in a great location for exploring the city. Everything has been thought about: the interior design, the kitchen equipment, the parking permits and the coffee pods, and everything was comfortable and stress free. Spotlessly clean, impeccable comms and a really friendly welcome. There is some road noise, so if you're not normally a city dweller, you could be disturbed. Wasn't a problem for us - highly recommend.

What an amazing location for our weekend away. We were really lucky with the weather so made the most of the outside space and the short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and Kelly was super quick to respond when we couldn't find the cushions for the outdoor lounger. The house was comfortable and had everything we would need for our stay. We would definitely visit again.

My family and I (7 adults & 1 child) recently stayed at ‘The Cottage’ and we all agreed that it was a wonderful holiday. The house is beautiful, very spacious, spotlessly clean and was well equipped for all of our needs. The hub is definitely the kitchen, we enjoyed playing family board games around the dining table. The gardens are amazing we loved watching wild rabbits, squirrels and cows everyday. It was nice to see home grown vegetables and a herb garden too. Our grandson enjoyed playing football with his dad in the garden, jumping on the trampoline and feeding the fish. It is ideally located for travelling into York and not far from the designer outlet. Our group ranged in age from 2yrs to 78yrs and there was something for everyone to do at the house. We all really needed a family break due to recent illness and enjoyed spending time together making lovely memories. We hope to be able to stay again and thank both Neil and Adrienne for sharing their beautiful home with us.
