Cabin holiday rentals in Smithville

Wasn’t sure what to expect as this was our first time glamping. The cabin was very nice, had great beds and bathroom. The outdoor area kept my kids busy all weekend long. The highlights for us were the hot tub and the fire pit. The breeze coming off the lake kept it cool during the heat of the day. Overall, a great stay.

We absolutely loved staying at Walter's ranch. The cabin was beautiful and cozy, breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed hearing all about the history of the ranch and the horses. We even got a tour of the ranch and we were able to visit with some of the horses and it was the highlight of our stay! We hope to come back again next year!

We had a wonderful stay here! It's the perfect weekend getaway for Texas residents, and a chance to enjoy their wonderful outdoor space. We had our toddler and dog with us along with a couple friends. The layout was perfect for our group, and the space was very kid-friendly. We loved the firepit, and the grate over the top made me much more comfortable having our toddler and dog outside while the fire was going. The hot tub was great in the evenings, and we loved all the space to roam around. We're hoping to make it an annual trip!

Great host, it was an amazing place to stay we felt right at home, the pool and hot tub was a big plus for us, also the snacks and drinks that was included was a great thoughtful Touch id definitely be going back

The cabin was better than we expected! There was lots of room, very spacious, beautiful furniture, and very well stocked. Bob was very easy to get a hold of and took care of our every need.

We had a wonderful experience at this cabin, it was tucked away and very private but we liked that. The cabin has everything you need and even door dash made it out there. The cabin has no WiFi but we had cell service with ATT so no bid deal. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I had a fantastic stay at Allen and Drew’s cabin — peaceful, private, and exactly what I needed. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked, with great amenities like a washer/dryer and strong A/C that made the Texas heat totally manageable. The setting felt wonderfully secluded, perfect for relaxing and recharging. What really stood out was how genuinely pet-friendly the place is. I really appreciated how accommodating Allen and Drew were to my two cats and my sprinter camper van — it made the whole stay feel easy and welcoming. On top of that, they were warm, responsive hosts who clearly care about the guest experience. The value is incredible for what you get. I’d absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet escape.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our dog along and the Isaac & Mindi were cool with us having her off leash after communication. The outdoor shower was a hit! Tight space but was completely fine with us. Small detail to be aware of that the breaker shut off four different times. We had the microwave and coffee maker running. But then we just had the microwave running and the power still switched off. We ended up getting it working after switching the breaker. Other than that, real great stay! Owners weren't invasive and they were very responsive

I loved this place, not to far from a wedding venue. It was nice and clean. Very peaceful. Parking spot is great. If you have a dully and a suv it’s a bit of a tight squeeze but do able. Host was SUPER nice and responded to any questions I had and was helpful. Would recommend if attending a wedding at The Oaks High Hill.

I stayed for 3days at happy horse hotel… It took my breath away… It was absolutely amazing… I can’t tell you all the wildlife I’ve seen… How friendly and amazing the host is.. They even taught me how to play a harmonica… The place was beautiful ..The air condition worked amazing ..They told me places that I could go and see they had the trails map out. They thought of everything . They grounded up coffee for me… And had a gallon of water already waiting for me when I got there. I had the whole place to myself and I’m talking about a beautiful piece of land… They had outside showers so you showered under the stars… or under the sun.absolutely beautiful. I would highly recommend to stay there… If you like camping or glamping, then you would love this place… And if you have a horse, you can also bring your horse here .I would definitely definitely stay again on my travels back to Texas, which I definitely am coming back … I give this place a 10 out of 10 if I could go higher, I would

Mike and Diana's place was one of the best (albeit short) stays we have ever had on Airbnb. so friendly and they didn't force us to clean at the end because we had a busy day ahead. so accommodating and friendly. thank you so much!

Excellent little cabin just outside of Austin, great for a little peace and quiet. Close to the Austin airport, although expect trips to downtown to take about 30 minutes. The cabin has all the amenities, a pleasant aesthetic, and the groundskeeper is friendly and super helpful. Overall, greatly enjoyed our stay!

Zach and Carlyle are amazing hosts and the place was beautiful and secluded. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home my family and I enjoyed being on the lake more than anything, our children’s faces just lit up at the sight of the minnows and fish. It was absolutely beautiful, the patio was amazing we sat under the awning with the fans, painting rocks and just completely enjoying ourselves. This is the perfect destination to unplug and connect with family and with so much space to spread out or enjoy things together. We can’t wait to come back!
