Peaceful family house, recommended for families especially.

We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

It's a very cozy house. We enjoyed our stay. The sauna can fit 2/3 people comfortably, but more than that is too tight. The location is great, it's at the same time private and also close to grocery stores, the beach, and coffee shops.

We had a great stay at this summerhouse! The pool and all the other amenities – including sauna, outdoor areas and kitchen – were really high quality and everything worked impeccably. The atmosphere and setting were perfect for a cozy and relaxed getaway with friends. The only small minus was that you had to bring gas to the grill yourself, which came as a surprise to all of us. It would be nice if it was mentioned more clearly in the description. All in all, a wonderful experience – we would love to come again!

We were there with the family and had a very good time. The pool was bigger than expected and the garden is great. Everything was the same as the photos. The garden has grown in nicely, so you don't notice anything from the neighbors. The amenities were very good. Beautiful beaches can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The nearby village of Asnæs is quite small, but there are 2 supermarkets and a good bakery, so you get everything essential.

We were 2 adults and 2 small children on an extended weekend. Beautiful little cottage with the most beautiful garden! Plenty of room for ball games, badminton and hide and seek. Beautiful pool and trampoline were the icing on the cake. Nice amenities, neat and clean. Jeanne was quick to respond to questions. We'd love to come back another time!

A lovely and cozy house. Everything is well thought out and very convenient (though a coat rack at the entrance would have been helpful, but we managed). It’s great that pets are allowed—we stayed here for New Year’s so our dogs could have a break from fireworks. There really weren’t many fireworks around. Thanks!

We stayed at Rikke and Andreas' place for 1 week. The house is situated in a quiet residential area in Sorø. The location is very central and therefore many things were super accessible. It was superbly equipped. In the kitchen, for example, nothing was missing. There were also a lot of toys available (our son was thrilled) The highlight was of course the heated pool & jacuzzi. Together with a grill and some outdoor toys, the perfect mix for everyone. The beds were also very comfortable. In the master bedroom even with box spring bed and children's room with high bed. Communication was also great. Rikke & Andreas responded very promptly. All in all, we highly recommend the accommodation! We will be happy to come back :)

Marie's cottage was the perfect setting for some really relaxing days in Ellinge Lyng. Walking distance to the water, surrounded by bushes and trees, sunny terrace and cozy, comfortable and stylish decor. Marie communicated super fast and was really sweet and welcoming. We couldn't have wished for more:)

The small holiday home was very nicely located and the check-in was very easy. We enjoyed our stay, especially the outdoors.

Ann Charlotte’s place is cosy and in beautiful surroundings in Kikhavn, a lovely village by the sea. We spent a few days here to get away from the city and it was great. I worked remotely and the internet is very fast, no issues there. Ann Charlotte is very friendly and welcoming. While we were staying the heating went out but Ann Charlotte made sure we were comfortable and it didn’t bother us. The house and garden are lovely and quiet too. Highly recommend!

The house is in a vacation home settlement, which is located in a forest. The surroundings are really beautiful. The beach is about 15 minutes on foot through the forest and a nature reserve; but there are also wheels that take you to the beach very quickly. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable. There were only two of us there, but in summer 4 to 6 people can certainly sleep there. Particularly beautiful are the two terraces on both sides of the house. The kitchen is very well equipped; there is everything you need. Communication with the landlady Anne Louise was straightforward. She was very helpful and gave us many useful tips. We'll be more than happy to return!

Very nice and cozy little cottage that we enjoyed being guests in. It was very clean and tidy - we highly recommend the house to others who want a trip out of town and just relax in quiet surroundings 😌

The house and its location are simply beautiful. It is very spacious and the terrace with the swing can be enjoyed in any weather. It is equipped with everything you might need. You are in the middle of the forest and close to the beach, where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets every evening. There are many supermarkets and attractions nearby. You can also get to Roskilde and Copenhagen relatively quickly. When we had a problem, we were able to reach Ture immediately and he also immediately took care of a solution to the problem. We felt very welcome.

As 6 year old Anine enthusiastically stated: 'The house is much better than we thought'. And then she suggested we try to buy it 😉 The epitome of classic Danish summer idyll with large nature plot, functional and stylish decor, all basic necessities and inspiring diversion from iPads and mobiles. Fire pit, swings, shelter and cave building in the close, and otherwise beach, sea and various child-friendly attractions within a very short radius (delicious swimming pool in Nykøbing, Rescue Zoo with exotic animals and surprisingly subdued and versatile 'Summerland Sjælland'). Perfect for our family with kids + grandma getaway 👏

We had the most wonderful summer holiday in this beautiful summerhouse - 3 adults and 2 children! The house is extremely child-friendly and also has everything a summerhouse needs: -) as a plus, the house is really beautiful and invitingly decorated. Really short distance to the beach and good restaurant/ice/shopping - opportunities close by! Very nice and available hosts who responded right away: -) we would love to vacation here again 😍

We had a fantastic experience with Nicola! Even before arrival, she was incredibly sweet and helpful, and she answered all our questions quickly and kindly. When we arrived, a clean and beautiful cottage was ready for us in the most beautiful and quiet surroundings - you could feel the calm immediately. Everything was exactly as described, if not even better. Nicola was very accommodating throughout and always quick to respond when we had questions. All in all, a perfect stay, which we highly recommend. We would love to come again!

We felt very comfortable in Anastasia's cottage. It has everything you need. We spent 9 days here and wanted a small house in a quiet environment close to the beach. By bike, we took 7 minutes to the beach and otherwise the area is very suitable for cycling. We only found the pull-out double bed a little uncomfortable, so after a while we switched to the smaller bed. That was much more comfortable, but may be too small for 2 large people. We missed a closet. At the beginning, we were unsure about the operation of the light switches. However, Anastasia always responded very quickly to messages and questions. The lounger in the garden was fantastic and very cozy.

Nice place, authentic summer house experience. charming with great access to the ocean.

There's been a wonderful week at Kenneth's home. It's a perfect place for families with kids.

The location is a gem and a real treat for your senses.
