Nice cottage of 90m² with loft in quiet surroundings, close to the fjord and a beautiful common area with a jetty in the summer months. There is no view of the water from the house. Everything is included in the price, electricity, water, towels, bed linen, tea towels, and basic foods such as oil, sugar and spices. The wood-burning stove is the main source of heating, there is electric heating in the bathroom, a little underfloor heating which is turned on when the electricity is cheap. The garden is completely undisturbed with room for games, sports and play.

Cottage with sea view for 1 or 2 families, as the house has a large separate annex with its own bathroom and toilet. Just a stone's throw from the lovely beach, you will find our newly built cottage, where you can enjoy the sea view while having your morning coffee on the terrace after a dip in the sea. The house is beautifully situated on the beach, Dybesø, Flyndersø and Korshage, where there is plenty of opportunity for beautiful nature experiences. Just a short bike ride away, you will find Rørvig By with cafes and restaurants as well as a cozy harbor.

Large family cottage (130 m2) in the heart of Ellinge Lyng with walking distance to a fantastic beach (1 km.) and beautiful nature. There's room for 10 adults. The house has a large living room and 5 bedrooms, a large outdoor room and a lovely peaceful garden with a slide and sandpit. In the backyard is a large terrace with a gas grill and sun from noon to evening. Houses are located on an open natural plot, away from traffic and noise. Wood pellets are free. From 9/1-4/31, a maximum of DKK 3 per KWh. A maximum of DKK 150 per day is charged.

Easy access to quiet beach (stones/sand depending on weather conditions) Short distance to Rørvig/Sj Odde/Nykøbing Sj/Sommerland Zealand. About 20 minutes to the ferry to Aarhus and about 1.5 hours to Copenhagen. Towels and bed linen are available.

Directly to the Fjord

Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year. (=The original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

Country retreat

At Munkebjerggård, you can sit back, relax and let your eyes wander over the rolling grasslands in comfortable and quiet surroundings. Here are beautiful hikes, challenging cycling terrain and 15 minutes to the beach. Our house is modern and fully heated with underfloor heating and hot water. There is a ceiling for kip and nice light in the open plan with a double bed on each floor and bathroom on the ground floor. On the farm, we run a smokehouse and farm shop on the weekend.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.
