Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Weimarer Land

Superb stay at Helge’s place which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We had a nice, albeit very wet, Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high number of ticks, but no one can do anything about that. However, you should prepare yourself before a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully warm with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The walk to the house, which is a little elevated, was a little impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

Sandar and Hans are very nice - we had no problems on arrival and departure, everything went smoothly. The house is in a well-maintained condition and very clean. The kitchen was great! The communication was top notch. The house has a quiet and private location - beautiful view of the village. The surroundings are very beautiful and super suitable for small hiking tours. The garden invites you to relax and grill. Shops and restaurants in Großbreitenbach are about 8 minutes away by car. All in all, it was a very pleasant and quiet stay. We'll be back!

If you want to switch off from city life, this is just the thing. Cozy, clean and well-equipped cottage in the middle of nature. The morning coffee on the terrace to forest sounds is already the perfect start. Those who like to wander through the woods can start some hiking trails directly from there. And on cooler evenings, the fireplace is excellent. And the best part...my big furry friend was warmly welcomed there and felt just as comfortable. I won't be the last time I've been there :) Thanks!

Our stay at Anneliese's place was great. It is a 10 min from the centre, close from other places to visit and 2 mim from kaufland. It was very calm the bed was comfortable and there was everything we needed for the stay. Thank you!

We had a great short break in Ziegenrück. We liked the house even better in person than in the photos. The play and relaxation options in the garden leave nothing to be desired. Although the neighbors are not far away, the garden is private behind green hedges. We particularly liked that every detail was well thought out and every smallest space was used sensibly. Above all, the furnishings of the kitchen leave nothing to be desired. The beds were very comfortable, our son grabbed the bunk and slept blissfully in it. We have nothing to complain about and recommend the accommodation without reservation!

We stayed for 3 nights in the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The place was as beautiful as in the photos and everything you need was available. Great work has been done here in the conversion to a vacation home and the loving decor. There is a discount store around the corner, the tram is also nearby and you can also walk to the old town super fast. It's quiet at night. We would come back.

Our stay was simply great, we felt right at home. The apartment really offers everything you have at home. The bed is a dream😌. Everything is very clean, bright, spacious, even a generous freezer is available. Lots of nature directly within walking distance but also many possibilities to do something by car (Erfurt/Weimar/Coburg) 😊 but even after 1 week stay - the time was far too short. The contact with Nicole and her family was also very nice, you felt welcome right away🤗. We really lacked nothing, definitely worth a visit - be it for hiking, for city trips or simply to relax again. We were at the accommodation to spend a weekend in the region. We felt very comfortable from the beginning!

There were 7 of us in the accommodation. It's well decorated and clean. clean. You are directly in a vineyard and have a great view. Supermarkets and Freyburg can be reached within minutes. Would definitely come back.

This was the perfect venue for a visit with friends in Gehren. The home was cozy, comfortable and well-provisioned. It was a perfect home base for all of the walking we did while visiting. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended for a family of 10 members. Everyone had their own room and the house has everything you need. An oven is not provided, but that did not bother us. The nearest bakery was 7 minutes away by car. Memleben is a small place - very quiet and idyllically located on the Unstrut. Nevertheless, a lot to offer: an adventure park, the Imperial Palatinate with historic monastery, the Arche Nebra is not far away and we have made a detour to the Eckartsberga amusement park. All in all, a successful holiday for the whole family. In winter/autumn certainly also very romantic with fireplace. Also very great: for 10 people 4 bathrooms (three of them with a toilet). This saved us an incredible amount of time for so many people in the morning. We thank you for a wonderful stay.

A perfect retreat in the Thuringian Forest We had the pleasure of spending a few days in this beautiful cottage and it was just amazing. The location is incredibly quiet, ideal for those looking for relaxation and recreation. The spacious garden invites you to linger and offers plenty of space for outdoor activities. The modern decor of the house is stylish and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to an excellent restaurant serving delicious local specialties. For families with children, the nearby playground is a big plus. Overall a wonderful place to get away from it all and enjoy the beauty of the Thuringian Forest. We will definitely be back!

Very nice house without a lot of frills, stylishly furnished. Good hiking trails nearby. Restaurants are not easy to find.

We (6 adults and 4 children) spent an extended weekend in Susann and Sebastian's house and felt very comfortable. The house offers enough space and is well equipped. In the house, you will find plenty of tips for excursions. Communication with Susann was easy and pleasant.

A beautiful place with a quiet area. Everything was very clean and everything you needed was there. The hosts are very friendly and available for any question and very helpful. The house is furnished with a lot of love and invites you to relax. In any case, we will return.

Incredibly beautiful villa, huge garden and amenities such as sauna, pool and many leisure things. Billiards, projector, basketball hoop, foosball, games. Everything there. Really perfect for a family vacation or a quiet getaway. The WiFi was super fast - we were able to work well there. There was hardly any cell phone reception, but that didn't bother us much, because we wanted a break. Kathrin was always quick and reliable to reach, responded kindly and with many tips. Great! Just a small note: there were many large spiders. This was absolutely to be expected and is just due to the location in the field - but for city dwellers a perhaps unfamiliar thing. But it's still absolutely worth it to vacation there. We will definitely be coming back.
