The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

Next to an old rectory, we have individually expanded a small side room for us, for friends and guests. Some things are modern, others still have the charm of past times. Much seems to us to be coherent, some is still in the making. So nothing is standard. What we have not yet considered and is useful for guests can usually be quickly supplemented. The cottage is surrounded by a natural garden on the edge of the field, so it is located in a small, agriculturally active village.

Built in 2019, the house sits on the edge of a small vacation home area and has a large terrace. The lovingly furnished bedrooms are each equipped with a large bed, TV and dresser. In the bathroom on the upper floor there is a rain shower and a bathtub with fantastic views. The spacious dining area in the basement with fireplace invites you to relax. And in the cold season, you can relax perfectly in the sauna! Come and discover the beach and so much more!

Cozy Vacation Apartment in the Cent

Our very modern and spacious holiday apartment easily fits two to three people and with the booking of the additional bedroom even four people can be accommodated. Since the apartment is located in the center of the island, it is the perfect starting point to all attractions and hence the distance is always moderate. The apartment perfectly fits a family with one child. Families with two children or three to four adults we recommend to book the extra bedroom.

Cozy semi-detached house "Hase" Ummanz / Rügen

The space is a small (~35 sqm) cozy semi-detached house on the idyllic island of Ummanz, which is accessible via Rügen. We recommend arriving by car. A well-behaved dog up to knee height can be brought along, please request before booking, stating the breed. The house is located on a lovingly designed property with a barbecue area, play facilities for children and animals (ponies, goats, rabbits). The 2nd semi-detached house "Dachs" can also be booked.

Our apartment (36 square meters) is suitable for a cozy Baltic Sea vacation, ideal for 2 people. A large balcony with an awning invites you to linger outside. Guest parking is available on the premises. Storage facilities for bicycles are also provided. The windows of the living room and bedroom are equipped with shutters and insect screens. No pets allowed in the apartment. In the high season, we usually only rent by the week.

The Muscheltaucher vacation home (living space 80 square meters) is a thatched house with underfloor heating throughout the house, a fireplace and a sauna. Built in 2020. The house has upscale amenities and is tastefully and comfortably furnished. Heating and hot water are provided by a heat pump, which is powered by green electricity from EWS Schönau. The cottage is very quiet, surrounded by greenery. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the center of the historic old town of Stralsund. Shopping (supermarket) and bus stop are only a 2-minute walk away. On the ground floor there is the hall, kitchen and bathroom/toilet. On the upper floor are the two bedrooms (with walk-in closet) and the spacious living room. Parking space on the property.
