We rent our cozy, 45 sqm apartment on the 2nd floor of an old villa, with a large south balcony, on the old sea dike of Carolinensiel. It is our 2nd home and offers a relaxing retreat on 2 levels. Within walking distance of the Museum Harbor Carolinensiel, you can reach restaurants and cafes. A big supermarket is in the neighborhood. Directly from the apartment, many cycling and hiking trails invite you to explore. There are plenty of maps on site.

If you want to relax, enjoy peace and quiet and wonderful views of meadows and fields, then you will not miss out here. The place is close to Carolinensiel - Harlesiel in Neu Augustengroden. Take a vacation in an apartment just behind the second dike. Surrounded by a garden with quiet and protected corners, a large variety of birds and a wonderful water lily pond, you can relax. In the garden there is a small sauna house. The sauna is free to use. Cycling and hiking trails start 50 meters behind our dike gate. Your pet is welcome.

Sunny and central in beautiful Aurich

The approximately 60 m² attic apartment is located in a well-kept, listed townhouse in the city center of Aurich. The pedestrian zone as well as sports facilities with De Baalje or the harbor area are within walking distance. Close to shopping (food, drugstore). The proximity to the coast and the swimming lake Tannenhausen are perfect for day trips. The apartment was newly expanded and equipped in 2015/2016.

A little time out in Esens

In 2023, the large "Landzeit Esens" (8 people) got a little sister - the "Kleine Auszeit" (2 people). Again, exposed wooden beams determine the ambiance - and of course we rely on biological materials again. The "Small Break" is a one-room apartment and the sleeping gallery can only be reached via a (somewhat steeper) staircase. A private terrace with a fenced garden area is also part of the "Small Break."

Cozy Apartment directly at the North Sea

Our apartment is located in the former residential area of a historic and extensively renovated Gulfhof, at the foot of the dyke, in the midst of a nature reserve. High ceilings, thick beams, large wooden windows with a great view into the East Frisian expanse and a modern decor with great attention to detail make this apartment a place to feel good.
