Irene’s home is very warm and beautiful, nicely themed house with her life experiences all over the world, it was beautiful chatting with her.A very friendly lady, accommodating me last minute, I was also offered a wonderful humble meal , would stay again in the future!

We had the pleasure of staying at John and Dorothy’s wonderful home and were warmly welcomed upon arrival. We were shown to a spacious and beautifully presented room with our own private bathroom, along with access to a comfortable and well-kept reception room. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—we had a fantastic night’s sleep. The following morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast featuring fresh strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries, accompanied by yogurt, a generous selection of granola and cereals, as well as toast and a variety of jams. It was a lovely and thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. John was a friendly, attentive, and gracious host throughout. Had a fantastic stay at Pondon Mill this weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, the breakfast was fantastic. We did establish our dog is scared of cats, but as Barbara suggested we just need to get one of our own to train him. We will definitely be returning. Amazing setting, lovely people. Fantastic place to stay with so much history. Thank you for having us!

We loved our stay at The Annex. Our host Julie met us on arrival and was very friendly. The property was beautifully laid out, had everything you’d need. Extra touches such as milk, bread and home made flapjacks (delicious 😊) were very much appreciated. Would love to return!

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Sian who is a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her about shared interests and the local area as she showed us around the beautiful and immaculately presented house (which is even better than the photos). Our room was spotless and beautifully furnished. Location was ideal, on the edge of the stunning village of Grassington surrounded by countryside, walks, swims and plenty of other attractions well placed nearby. Lovely sheltered and private spot, excellent breakfasts to set you up for your days adventures! We love it here and can't wait to come back! Thank you Sian!

Stayed 4 days in Paul’s lovely cottage, just a short walk from Hawkshead village. The accommodations were as expected and Paul could not have been a more gracious host. He has a wealth of local knowledge and directed us on some beautiful walks. Breakfasts were fantastic! Would absolutely return in a heartbeat.

Sally made us feel at home as soon as we arrived she is a very helpful person and the accommodation and the breakfast was lovely look forward to our return soon.

I had a lovely time at Joyce’s home. She was so welcoming and helpful and I felt very comfortable all the time I was there. I was very happy with my comfortable bed, spotless bathroom and private sitting room. And Joyce provided lots of good information and advice for my exploration of Hadrian’s Wall. I really enjoyed staying in Hexham.

This was our 1st time booking an Airbnb & we have found an absolute gem. Juliette & Nick are very welcoming & friendly. Their home is beautiful and so was the private room with en-suite we stayed in. It was spotless, they catered for everything & we couldn’t have been happier. The location was perfect for visiting my son in Horsforth & we fitted in a trip to Harrogate which was under a 30 minute drive away. We highly recommend them & we’ll definitely be booking with them again. Thank you both.

Heather and Craig were very helpful and friendly, with great communication and local recommendations. Everything in the room was high quality and the location was fantastic for access both to the lake and town centre. The breakfast was delicious!

This was our final accommodation after our trip around Scotland and to say we left the best until last was an understatement. Marcus and Vienetta provide excellent accommodation, which is comfy and welcoming, but what they offer on top of this is an experience. Their lovely home is quirky and fun. They provide the right balance between giving their guests space and engaging. We would highly recommend a stay.

Sarah's place is a delightful country cottage, a reasonable distance from the motorway and 20 min from good restaurants in Dumfries. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay, hosts were so welcoming and friendly and allowed us a flexible check in to suit our plans. Home is gorgeous and well located in jesmond near the metro.

Tony was a great host! We went to Kendal for a very casual getaway and the BnB was in an amazing location. Tony was really friendly, helpful and even had lovely breakfast items prepared for us. The bedroom was cosy and we felt right at home. thank you so much for having us!

Jenny was a great host. Thoughtful and responsive. Great location for an easy walk into Hebden Bridge - right next to the canal towpath. Good public transport links too.

Julia is very friendly and easy to stay with - I also appreciated the use of the kitchen and other areas of your very tidy home. Very walkable location, close by to the Metro and also some local shops which are handy for food/anything you may need. I will not hesitate to book again if available and highly recommend to anyone needing somewhere to say locally if you are looking for a home away from home!

My two friends and I had a wonderful stay at Sara’s. Sara gave us a special Isaac’s Tea Trail package providing dinner as well as bed and breakfast. The meals were all delicious, and very appreciated as we were on foot and unable to drive to nearby pubs. The house and location is beautiful and we were greeted with tea, warm crumpets and a log fire - perfect after a long wet walk. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Sara is a fantastic warm host and so interesting to talk to. I’d highly recommend staying - you won’t want to leave though.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Our stay at Mark's place was short & cozy ! He helped us with tips during our late arrival and his team kindly greeted us in the evening. We had a nice and calm night stay in a interesting surrounding of a pristine old village pub ! Would recommend to walkers keen on accessing or finishing the Hadrian's wall path ! :)
