Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Faxe

The house is so incredibly beautiful and lovingly furnished, I didn't want to leave. Everything very clean. It really has everything you need. The garden is great. It's super quiet. In 10 minutes walk you are at the harbor. I'd like to give more stars, but there's only 5.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kirsten's place! The place was just as charming as described – quiet location, with direct access to the lake and perfectly equipped for our fishing trip. Especially nice was the possibility to take a canoe and rowing boat directly from your own property to the water. Kirsten is an exceptionally warm and helpful host. She provided us with all the important information in advance, was always available and took care of everything with so much love for detail – from boat licenses to maps. Just great! The house was cozy, clean and had everything we needed – including well equipped kitchen, freezer and barbecue. And even little extras like firewood were available. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime! Thank you for everything, dear Kirsten! 🙏🏼

We truly enjoyed our week at Lars’ place and would definitely recommend it to everyone, who want a peaceful time out riding their bike through the beautiful countryside side of Denmark, exploring local shops and restaurants. You’ll definitely feel right at home at the cozy cottage ☀️ We will definitely be back!

We felt right at home, and the hosts were very helpful/responsive. The peaceful location is very relaxing. This home comfortably fulfilled all of our needs.

It's a great place, isolated yet you can still reach everything by car or by bike. The dark sky ist gorgeous.

Line’s cottage is a poem, so beautiful and special. She is also a wonderful host, accommodating and friendly and gave us lots of great tips for exploring the city. She even greeted us with warm coffee and pastries.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The accommodation is quiet and idyllic with direct access to a private beach – a real highlight! There is a lot to discover and experience, especially for families with children. The surroundings invite you to relax. A few corners could have been cleaned a little more thoroughly, but overall it was cozy and we felt comfortable. We would love to come back!

We were very warmly welcomed and were shown the beautiful surroundings on a small tour of the grounds by Tina. The accommodation is very comfortable and lovingly furnished and offers plenty of space. The apartment is flooded with light through large glass windows and glass doors. There is a cozy seating area outside right in front of the living-dining area with a large table to eat there. We enjoyed the peace and the enchanting polyphonic bird concert. Tina and her husband are very friendly and helpful. In the morning, Tina hung delicious croissants on the door. We felt wonderfully spoiled all around! This place offers a great starting point for excursions into nature in the immediate vicinity, but also for activities in Roskilde and Copenhagen. It was simply the BEST stay, we felt very welcome right from the start. It was SO cozy, lots of cute animals, perfect size housing and amazing sweet hosts🥰 We had bought breakfast which was really delicious 🤩 Our boys (6 and 9 years old) were already asking when we were driving out of the yard if we could come back soon☺️

We were pleased with the stay, which went smoothly and well. Theis was welcoming and quick to answer our questions. The apartment had what we needed and there was a nice light in it.

Absolutely lovely place, nice and clean. 🧼 First we fell in love with the dog Wilma. The couple was very helpful and the whole place has the signature of a real handyman. Very comfy beds complete with linen and towels. Place well heated, warm floor in huge bathroom. Nice garden and they even have live Koi fish in the pond. We hope to be back!

A wonderful stay. Rooms are separate so it felt more roomy than the pictures would suggest. Felt right at home. You have to be a little conscious of the stairs down and also the changes in the floor levels between the rooms but it wasn’t a problem - even for my parents in their mid-eighties but might be a consideration if you have mobility issues. Had everything we needed for a comfortable and quiet stay within easy reach of both the airport and the centre of CPH. Pernille was lovely and made us feel very welcome.

We enjoyed Kristian's place very much. It was very comfortably furnished and it was very well equipped (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil… ), great dishes and with dishwasher, simply great.

Perfect location for the Riders Cup. We really enjoyed our stay and it was great to have complete peace when you got home to the apartment. Great beds and really on and neat. Great place and I hope we can book it again the next time we have to attend a rally at the Riders Cup!

Great place and hospitality!

The house is in a quiet place that we used as a base for a day in Copenhagen, among other things. The house is large, looked tidy and clean, has a large garden and we walked to the fjord in the evening. We experienced the environment and tranquility as a plus! The kitchen was also extensive and equipped with all comforts. We can recommend Malene and Claus's home to anyone if you are looking for a quiet place in a beautiful environment, we have enjoyed it.

We had very nice days in Marielyst, in this great holiday home. The house has very modern furnishings and was perfect for us 9 people. It was not far from the beach and you can also walk to Marielyst. Communication with David was quick and straightforward. Thanks to David.

Fantastic holiday home with sea view – pure relaxation! We had a wonderful time in this small but very nice cottage! The house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired - from the well-stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and a cozy living area where you will immediately feel at home. The absolute highlight is of course the fantastic sea view! For example, at breakfast on the terrace - the view of the water is simply priceless. The quiet location ensures real relaxation, and yet shopping, restaurants and beautiful excursion destinations are easily accessible We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back. Lene is a great hostess, is there to help and advise. A real insider tip for all those who want to escape everyday life and let their souls wander!

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful cottage. It has a wonderful garden and it is also not far from the sea. If you want to enjoy the peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Signe was extremely nice and accommodating. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. ideal for resting. there are all the necessary shops and restaurants in the small city center within walking distance.

Very nice little cozy summerhouse. Elizabeth was very accommodating and helpful from the first second. Everything just worked and my kids were very excited about the house, especially the smallest in 7 years loved the toys and the garden. We didn't use the wilderness bath as it wasn't stocked, probably due to late booking.

Great stay! Very beautiful view, clean and nice accommodation. Inger was quick to respond and it was very easy to check in. We will definitely visit the place again.

Very quiet location yet relatively close to Copenhagen and Roskilde. This made it possible to take advantage of cultural offerings. Nature right outside the front door. Mikael's cottage was warm despite the wintry temperatures. Bathroom with underfloor heating, the living room with fireplace and electric heating. Beautiful garden. The use was of course limited in winter, but certainly a plus in summer.
