For hikers and bikers, the Baltic Sea and Holstein Switzerland are outside the door. You can reach the beach by car or by bike in a few minutes.

The quiet location in Rüting (in the middle of Lübeck & Hohwachter Bay, in the Baltic Sea vacation country) tempts to relax and let five be straight. Around Rüting there are many attractive excursion destinations whether active or passive such as beach, cycling and hiking trails, HansaPark, KletterPark, zoo, various Museums, wellness and adventure pools and much more

Welcome to Apartment Knüllenkieker! Renovated in 2021 and high-quality equipped 2-room apartment is located near the beach (5-7 minutes' walk), not far from the new dune park, in popular Baltic Sea resort Grömitz. The apartment is central yet very quiet, so you can relax ideally in the apartment and on the large terrace. As a special highlight, we offer our guests a free beach chair worth €15 per day from April to early October.

Our beautiful official house is the former residence of the Duke of Oldenburg and is located in the back part of our estate, surrounded by greenery overlooking fields and meadows. The rooms are spacious and tastefully designed and even with many people you can always find your own retreat to breathe. A huge, private garden with terrace and garden furniture awaits you, adjacent to it is our horse meadow.
