Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Relax in this unique and beautiful home near the forest and beach Here there is plenty of room for a couple/friends with a terrace where you can barbecue and cozy. Inside, the house is spacious with a large lovely living room, bedroom with a double bed and direct access to the bathroom and kitchen with stove, coffeemachine, refrigerator, etc. Washing machine is available Rungsted coast lies between Copenhagen and Elsinore. About 1 km to the water, the trendy Rungsted Harbour with all the restaurants and Karen Blixen house.

Cozy little apartment (annex) with its own entrance and exit to garden with barbecue and garden furniture. The apartment: a bedroom with 2 really good box- mattresses, which serve as a double bed or single beds. Both winter and summer duvets are extra long. Combi living room/kitchen, hallway and small bathroom with walk-in shower. There is private guest parking and bicycles available. Close to lovely Kattegat with beach access from the landowner's beach grounds. Note: due to dog allergy no pets. Sorry.

Warm welcome to cozy Ekeby, a smaller town located in northwest Skåne. Approximately 3,500 people of mixed ages live here, mainly in villas but also in some apartments and farms. In the village there is a grocery store with a wide assortment, a kiosk with a snack bar and a pizzeria. One of Sweden's largest privately owned furniture stores is also located here, with a restaurant serving lunch, sandwiches and cakes. There is a health center and in the shop we find a small range of pharmacy products.

Charming house with a great location.

Charming house in a great location. The house has 3 rooms and a loft as well as bathroom and kitchen. It is sorrounded by a very nice garden and has access to its own south facing terrace with garden furniture. Copenhagen and Elsinore can be reached in 20 minutes, and Rungsted harbor with many restaurants and a nice beach within minutes. Louisiana Art Museum, Kronborg Castle are nearby. The hosts live in an independent house in the same place and are available to give you a perfect vacation.
