Nice cottage of 90m² with loft in quiet surroundings, close to the fjord and a beautiful common area with a jetty in the summer months. There is no view of the water from the house. Everything is included in the price, electricity, water, towels, bed linen, tea towels, and basic foods such as oil, sugar and spices. The wood-burning stove is the main source of heating, there is electric heating in the bathroom, a little underfloor heating which is turned on when the electricity is cheap. The garden is completely undisturbed with room for games, sports and play.

The large natural area on the protected ridge is forested, and from the top, where there is a magnificent view of Roskilde Fjord, a staircase leads down to an area with a bathing jetty. With a location within a reasonable distance from Roskilde and Copenhagen, the house is very suitable for guests who are looking for both nature and cultural experiences. Directly to the Fjord

Our summerhouse is situated on a small island, Oroe, in Isefjord. It sits on a bluff, almost at the end of a gravel road, with direct access to the fjord from the house. We provide Danish traditional summer house-hygge in natural surroundings with a twist of modern facilities. The house is our private home, open for guests only 10-12 times a year ( the original idea behind AirBnB) In general, we attempt to be as sustainable as possible i.e we always try to repair rather than to replace.

Charming smaller cottage

This place has it's own charm and simplicity, with nature and the Isefjord close by, as well as other excursion opportunities. The house and ground are also child-friendly for families with smaller children. There is a grandmotherly atmosphere here and many facilities. You can immerse yourself in the calmness and awareness that is present and use it as a retreat from everyday life. There is peace enough to open to creativity, or other processes that require time and peace to unfold.

Idyllic former farmhouse in Danish countryside

The house is a traditonal Danish countryside house, 20 km from Roskilde. Here you can enjoy the Danish “hygge”, with peace and nature that you’ll find nowhere else. Relax on the terrasse in the garden, walk in the woods or to Gershøj beach. Go biking on the “fjordsti” which follows Roskilde and Ise fjord, just 1.5 km from the house. Bikes can be borrowed here for free. In winter, you can make a fire. Breakfast and dinner can be arranged upon request and against fees.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. With panoramic views over beautiful fields. Scenic area 300 meters from the water. Possibility to fish and cycle in a quiet area. As something completely unique, wild mouflons walk around the area, so be careful when driving on the roads. There are about 200 of them. Bring your fishing rod and waders and catch a fish in Roskilde fjord. If you want to go to town and shop, it's 15 minutes to cozy Frederikssund.

Udendørs byder huset på en stor sydvendt terrasse med pergola, vildmarksbad, sauna, udebruser og bordtennis. Indendørs findes biograf og billiard - perfekt til både afslapning og sjov. Herudover 4 soveværelser og 1 hems, så der er god plads til familier og større grupper. Vi glæder os til at byde jer velkommen.

Our modern summerhouse is situated at Oroe in Isefjorden. The house lies on a 'hilly' plot owerlooking Isefjorden almost at the end of a gravel road. From the beach you can fish and swim.
