Enjoy a cozy holiday in the countryside - in UNESCO's biosphere area, close to the medieval town of Stege, near the water and in the middle of nature. We are a family consisting of a Danish/Japanese couple, three small dogs, a cat, sheep, running ducks and chickens. We have renovated the entire farm to the best of our abilities and with a high degree of recycled materials. We love to travel and make sure the house is comfortable and cozy. The well-appointed 50 m2, with up to 4 m to the ceiling, is perfect for a couple - but is also ideal for a family with 2-3 children. All year round, you can swim in the "Svenskerhullet" and Roneklint and the small fine island Maderne, which is owned by Nysø Castle. 10 km from Præstø. Stay in the countryside on a 4-wing farm in an apartment on 2 floors. We have a cozy courtyard where all meals can be enjoyed in shelter. The apartment has its own terrace overlooking the garden. There is a large park-like garden of about 16,000 m2, where you can go for a walk, walk with dogs and the children can play. There are many cozy nooks in the garden. Families with children are very welcome. We like our guests to feel at home. NOTE that for 5 guests, one bed is on an air mattress in the living room. Possibility of longer stays.

The cottage has 3 kayaks you can borrow if you want to enjoy the fjord from the water. The fjord "Tempelkrogen" is known for its good fishing waters. The cottage is 45 minutes from Copenhagen.

Fjordgarden - Guesthouse

Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.
