Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. My little house is an affordable place to stay with an ideal location. Turn off and find the accommodation at the back of my house. A private wooden deck around the house provides a nice patio and if you feel like barbecuing, everything you need is available. What do you want to visit? Österlen? Copenhagen? Lund? Malmö? Hven? The accommodation is 800 meters from the train station, a ten-minute walk from the golf course and 250 meters from the ICA store with generous opening hours. The tiled bathroom comes with a shower and toilet, fridge and microwave, of course.

The House is located on a 3.600 square meters plot, where the 2.000 square meters are beach and sea. The beach is private (though the public has access). But since it is private and there is no big parking lot you'll mostly have the beach to yourself!
