Located in Strömstad's oldest neighborhood, Bukten, you will find this simple accommodation just over 100 meters from Strömstad's bus & train station. A steep staircase leads up to two small rooms and a toilet in the loft above our storage room/carpenter's shop (shower at the entrance). Fridge and water boiler available. Bed linen and towels are not included (available for rent SEK 100/guest). The guest cleans and throws away garbage after themselves. Pets allowed. Check yourself in with the lockbox. Stay in Loftet via Brännans Gård

At our neighboring farm Valla Gård, you can now stay in "Loftet", an apartment that has been decorated up in the stable's old granary. Here, the style is a bit Aspen-inspired with brown-stained new wooden walls while a gable wall has been allowed to retain its original board planks. The old granary staircase is also preserved, which makes the upstairs master bedroom less suitable for small children, but very cozy for anyone who can handle a steeper staircase. 2 bedrooms with room for up to five people, private kitchen, bathroom and living room.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and somewhat centrally-located well appointed cozy studio apartment where you also will enjoy the private outdoor patio. A 15 minutes tram ride will take you to Saltholmen, the gateway to Gothenburg’s archipelago or 25 minutes to the City center. It’s walking distance to Röda Sten and Nya Varvet where you will find restaurants with harbor view’s . The Swedish translation is funky, it’s not a loft it’s down stairs and the room for your suitcases is just that 🤷‍♀️

Enjoy your vacation in a rural location with animals outside the window!
