Beautiful, well-equipped house in a very quiet location. The hostess is very friendly, well organized and helpful. The vacation went smoothly and as we imagined it.

Rarely seen such a beautiful place to stay! The house is so cozy, lovingly and tastefully furnished. You feel right at home! And the garden is simply a dream. Right next to the forest, so you can hear the birds in the morning and evening. I'm sure we'll be back!

Very quiet location, somewhat remote, no footpaths. Spacious rooms with good amenities and a huge garden. Ideal for families with children and dogs. Everything is clean and maintained. Easy, flexible check-in. Hostess is always available. Absolutely recommended.

The house is in a great location, along the street that leads to the beach and a few minutes walk from the village and shops; it is bright and tastefully furnished; the interior spaces are very spacious, we have stayed there in three but it is suitable for more people; comfortable beds and good cleanliness; very large and well equipped kitchen; large manicured garden; a house full of charm and well inserted in the atmosphere of the island

The stay at Ralph's was wonderful. The garden was so enchanting and my little furry friend especially liked it. Communication with Ralph was fast, friendly and solution-oriented when we had problems. The rooms were large, very clean and the furnishings of the whole house were perfect for us. The house had many loving details that you discovered step-by-step, such as humorous sayings on signs, various garden figures, etc. You can see how much love for detail is and was put into it. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed every breakfast in the morning on the covered terrace with birdsong. This accommodation is recommended without exception.

The house on the lake is a wonderful holiday home – ideal for families with small children! Everything was perfectly equipped, we lacked nothing. The clear, simple design of the facility has created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Our son was thrilled with the numerous toys, the many books and the wonderful garden for playing and romping. Janine was incredibly attentive and was always there to help us with advice and action. Upon arrival, we felt at home with the homemade apple cake - what a warm welcome! The location is also fantastic, just a short walk to the beach. We left with a tear in our eye and will definitely come back!

The apartment is very cozy and stylishly furnished, and the garden is well maintained with many beautiful seating areas. The location is very quiet - but you need a car for all activities.

There were three of us with a child in the accommodation. For us, the small apartment was completely sufficient. It's nice to have your own garden with a terrace, furniture and a sandbox. Just like a parking space in front of the accommodation. The sea can be reached by car. Unfortunately, the bathing beach of Friedrichskoog is currently under reconstruction, so the sea with beach was only accessible in Büsum and St. Peter Ording. The residents of Marne are all very friendly. We can only recommend the accommodation and the hosts and would be very happy to have another vacation there!

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

Good facilities, close to the highway which was nice when passing through, but no noise nuisance at all. Very quiet and green environment.

Had a fantastic stay! The place was beautiful - exactly as pictured, or even better! Hannes & Delphine were genuinely friendly and full of helpful local tips. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience - would happily book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

What a nice cottage this is. Nice and spacious for 2 people. Wonderfully cool with the warmer weather. In this cottage, really the effort has been made to make everything fit nicely together. Everything has been thought of, coffee maker, kettle. But also coffee and thea. Really nice that you are thinking along with the people who are coming. We enjoyed the cottage and the area and will definitely come back. Jasja🌸

Great house! Nice in the woods, large plot with different places where you can sit and relax. Nice environment to do different activities.

A spacious house in which everything you need is present. Beautifully quiet location. No overlooking and you can walk straight from the backyard into the Drents Friese Wold. The motion cameras spotted a badger, stone marten and several foxes in the woods at night. A very complete kitchen and a wonderful bed. And easy key transfer with the help of the key box. A very nice stay.

We were with 6 adults, a baby and dog for four days in Hoogersmilde. We liked the holiday home, the fenced garden and the outdoor seating options very much. The beds were great and it was nice that there were fly screens on the windows and sliding door to the terrace. We liked the house and the nature reserve very much, so we can imagine coming back again.

Our group had a very great time at this lovely accommodation. The location directly by the water was relaxing and offered beautiful views. The house was clean, well-equipped, and comfortably furnished. Communication with the host was smooth and friendly. We’d definitely consider coming back.

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

We were expecting a spacious house in the 60s/70s style with an equally large property. All rooms and the garden are really huge, this one is also really beautiful. The house is right on the west coast clinic, walking distance to beautiful downtown. We didn't lack anything in terms of amenities. We felt like we were immersed in a strange family life and treated everything with respect.

Delightful place to relax on the Oranjewoud estate. You have a large garden for yourself with even a piece of forest where there is a surprisingly beautiful seat by the water, even a kingfisher has been seen. It was such beautiful weather during our stay that we only sat inside a little but the living room with beams and the high ceiling is also very nice to stay

Highly recommended!! Great cottage: nice decor, sparkling clean and equipped with all comforts. The contact with Herman is very pleasant, and he responds quickly. Finally, Appelscha is really fun to discover. In short: book!
