Family stay in the forest

We welcome you into our family summerhouse located on "Sandet" ("The Sand") right in between Tisvildeleje and Liseleje with both beach towns approx. a 10 minute drive away. The house is a few hundred meters from Denmark's largest lake, Arresø, where you can fish, go kayaking or watch a large variety of birds. Close by is also the forest, Tisvilde Hegn, with mountain bike trails and castle ruins. If you are looking for some peaceful family time this is the place to be.

Small cottage surrounded by private garden. Plenty of parking space and bird song. Cozy and down to earth. If you are looking for a luxurious spa getaway, lots of storage room and kitchen gear or hate sand on the floor, this is not the place! If you don’t mind the quirks of our old house, want to avoid crowds at the beach, jump the trampoline or have your dog with you, this is the place! The apartment is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are two minutes walk to Hornbæk Plantation. It is a dog forest and it takes only 10 minutes to walk down to the coast. Dogs are welcome, but we are old school and do not accept dogs in bed, chair, couch, and other furniture. Your dog must be able to sleep on the floor and we are happy to provide a dog bed.
