Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

Book a stay at this cozy, tiny, bear themed camper where the covered deck, hot tub, and outdoor projector steal the show, before they do! Your own hideaway sits on a wooded acre just minutes from lakes, waterfalls, and three nearby towns for food, shopping and exploring. End the night by the firepit roasting marshmallows and wondering why you didn't book a longer stay in the first place!

The Sasquatch Inn is a secluded heavily wooded primitive cabin that sits on 32 acres, with some great views of the Smoky mountains. This is a hike-"Up/Down" the mtn. Hike up approximately 1/4 mile. We can also ferry your gear to and from the parking area in our Polaris General if need be but will need to make arrangements for that. The hike "is" uphill. Bring an umbrella and flashlights for your night-time hike up, and hiking shoes. The hike "up" the mountain can be slippery/muddy when raining.

Hola! So happy you found us. Come have your creative getaway in nature in our colorfully renovated 1972 Argosy Airstream. We didn't want you to have to squeeze into a tiny camper bathroom, so we made a brand new concrete/tile bathroom to give you extra space to get ready to explore the town in style. Private Roku tv in bedroom, wifi, coffee setup, books, AC/Heat, huge porch for relaxing. 25 minutes to downtown Greenville, near plenty of hikes and trails, or you can relax in nature at home :)

33 Ft Camper perfect for a layover/getaway

Close to Clemson, I- 85, Lake Hartwell, and Anderson. My 2023 Wildwood 28vbxl CAMPER sits in my driveway which is also home to Freedom Fences, a non profit animal rescue. This is a working farm so people are always milling around. Well behaved, housetrained animals allowed but must be crated if left alone. Great spot for Clemson football. 25 minutes to Greenville. 10 minutes from downtown Anderson. Less than 7 miles to Garrison arena. NO Smoking! If you are high maintenance, don't book!

NC Foothills. Mins from TIEC & 4 wineries. 50 mins from Asheville & Blue Ridge Parkway! Newly renovated 270 sq ft historical caboose, bursting with character and amenities! It traveled thousands of miles before coming to us! Imagine the stories it would tell if it could talk! Placed on rails, in a wooded hill, surrounded by acres of family land. Secluded yet super safe! We live ~ 400 yards away. Can be booked with our other Airbnb for extended family/friends getaway! Just ask us!

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!
